How to make a Wedding Ring Box – Pirate’s Treasure Chest

This Pirate’s Treasure Chest Ring Box was so much fun to make and one of my favorite projects. This was the first video I ever filmed, but I just now got around to finishing the edit. I didn’t have any idea how I was going to accomplish anything in the design, but just experimented and tried things until I found ways to make it work. The bride and groom were thrilled with this homemade keepsake and I hope it lasts them for years.

I’ve loved building things from a young age and I believe anyone can get out to the shop and make things. I want to inspire people to go out there and learn something new, to experience the thrill of taking a project from the moment of inspiration to a finished piece. Also, my wife has a very long honey-do list for me and I might as well make videos doing it.
